How can we help?

Your dashboard is where you change your wedding details, add your families and functions, and make an invite for each guest. Sign in at vivah.online/dashboard with the phone number that your personal link came to. Each step below names the button you tap.

Your details

Change the time, venue or map

Change your details as often as you need. Your web address stays the same, so the links you already sent keep working and show the new details.

  1. Open vivah.online on your phone. Tap Menu, then “My site”. On a computer, “My site” is at the top of the page.
  2. Type the phone number that your personal link came to, then tap “Send OTP”.
  3. Type the 6-digit OTP from the SMS, then tap “Verify OTP”. Your dashboard opens.
  4. Find “Your details” and tap “Edit details”.
  5. Change what you need: the wedding date, the ceremony time, the venue name (for example, The Grand Pavilion, Chhatarpur) and the town and state (for example, New Delhi, Delhi). The ceremony time is India time, and the countdown runs to it.
  6. To add the map, open Google Maps and search for your venue. Tap Share, then “Copy link”. Come back and paste the link in “Google Maps link”.
  7. Tap “Save details”. When you see “Saved”, your guests see the new details. Tap “Open your invite” to check.
  • On your live invite, the “Your wedding? Edit details” link at the bottom also takes you to your dashboard.
  • Tap Cancel to leave without a change.

Your families

Add your parents’ and grandparents’ names

Your invite can show both families in an “Our Families” section: the family title, the grandparents, and the parents (“Daughter of” and “Son of”). Every name is optional, and a family with no names stays hidden.

  4. Find “Your families” and tap “Add family names”. If you added names before, the button says “Edit family names”.
  5. Each family has its own box: the bride’s family and the groom’s family. Whose name comes first on your invite, that family comes first.
  6. Type the grandmother’s and the grandfather’s names, if you want them on the invite. Grandparents are optional.
  7. Type the mother’s and the father’s names. Write each name as guests should read it, for example “Smt. Neelam Malhotra” and “Shri Rajiv Malhotra”.
  8. Under the names, in “Family title”, tap a suggestion, for example “Malhotra Parivar”, “The Malhotra Family”, “Priya’s Family” or “Vadhu Paksh”. Or type your own. Tap “No title” to show no heading.
  9. Do the same in the other family’s box.
  10. Tap “Save family names”. When you see “Saved”, your invite shows “Our Families” just before your functions. Tap “Open your invite” to check.
  • Leave a field empty to leave that name out. With only one parent’s name, the card shows that name alone.
  • With an empty “Family title”, the card uses the father’s surname, for example “Malhotra Parivar”. With no surname, it uses your first name, for example “Priya’s Family”.
  • Each name shows exactly as you type it, with “Late Shri”, “Dr.” and the like.

Your functions

Add your haldi, mehndi and other functions

Your invite can show tilak, haldi, mehndi, sangeet and reception with the wedding, each with its own date, time, venue and map. The steps below add haldi. The steps are the same for every function: tick its name and fill in its fields.

  4. Find “Your functions” and tap “Add functions”. If you chose functions when you signed up, the button says “Edit functions”.
  5. Tick Haldi. Four fields open below it.
  6. Choose the date and type the time. The time is India time.
  7. Type the venue, for example “The Grand Pavilion Lawns, Chhatarpur”.
  8. To add the map, open Google Maps and search for the haldi venue. Tap Share, then “Copy link”. Come back and paste the link in “Google Maps link”.
  9. Tap “Save functions”. When you see “Saved”, your invite shows Haldi in “Wedding Festivities”, with its own date, time and map. Tap “Open your invite” to check.
  • To add more than one function, tick each one and fill in its fields, then tap “Save functions” once.
  • Your invite lists the functions in date order. If you change a date, the function moves to its new place.
  • Do not know a detail yet? Leave it empty and add it later. Your link stays the same.
  • To remove a function, tap “Edit functions”, untick it, then tap “Save functions”.

Personal invites

Make and send a personal invite for each guest

Each guest gets their own link. It opens your invite with Shri Ganesh and “Hi” with their name, then your song, the date, the venue map and the RSVP.

  4. Find “Guest invite links”.
  5. In “Guest’s name”, type the name the way you call them, for example “Vinita Didi” or “Sharma Uncle”. The invite opens with “Hi” and this name.
  6. Tap “Make link”. The link appears in the list below the form.
  7. Tap “Send on WhatsApp”. WhatsApp opens with a message ready: an invitation from the two of you, with the link at the end.
  8. Choose the guest’s chat. Wait about 2 seconds until the invite preview shows above the message, then tap send. They see a card with your names, and their own name when they open it.
  9. Do the same for each guest. The form is empty again after each link.
  • To send a link another way, tap “Copy link” and paste it in an SMS or an email.
  • Made a link by mistake? Tap Delete next to it. If that guest opens the old link, they see your invite without their name. You cannot get a deleted link back.
  • If the preview has no picture on WhatsApp, see the question about link previews below.

Questions couples ask

  • What do I get with vivah.online?

A wedding website on your own address, a dashboard to manage it, and a personal invite link for every guest. Each invite opens with Shri Ganesh and the guest’s name, then shows your song, a date to scratch open, a countdown, the venue map and a WhatsApp RSVP button.

  • Is there a dashboard for the couple?

Yes. After you pay, sign in with your phone number at vivah.online/dashboard ("My site"). There you change your wedding details and your song, make an invite link for each guest by name, copy it or send it on WhatsApp, and delete links you no longer need.

  • What do guests see when they open the link?

A Shri Ganesh card says “Hi” with the guest’s name and asks them to tap. The tap opens your invite and starts your song, which they can pause. They scratch gold foil to reveal the date, then see the countdown, the venue on Google Maps and the RSVP button.

  • How does RSVP work?

Each invite has an RSVP button. The guest taps it, and WhatsApp opens with a reply to you already typed. The reply comes to your WhatsApp, so you read every answer in your chats.

  • Can I change the details after I send the invite?

Yes. Change the date, time, venue or map link in your dashboard. Every guest link shows the new details at once, so you send nothing again.

  • How much does it cost?

From ₹799, paid once. There is no charge per guest, and you see a free preview before you pay.
